Free Post-Apocalyptic
Skirmish Wargame
Thrackdown is a fast, miniature-agnostic tabletop skirmish game of desperate fighters, brutal firefights and hard choices. Start with a warband of typically 6 to 8 fighters using any miniatures you own, then battle through the ruins of Nova Eden with alternating activations, simple D6 rules and campaigns in which fighters gain experience, earn new gear and carry every scar into the battles ahead.

Fast, brutal, personal
Thrackdown keeps the scale small and the decisions immediate. Fighters activate one at a time, creating a constant back and forth in which every move gives your opponent a chance to respond.
Battles are fast, cinematic and personal. Nerve lets you break an enemy’s will without simply removing models, while Momentum rewards daring actions and gives you the resources to push your luck at exactly the right moment.
Small enough to paint in a weekend and characterful enough to give every fighter a name, history and grudge.
Recruit a Leader, fill your Core and add Specialists or perhaps one hulking Juggernaut.
Fighters flinch, panic and freeze under fire. Apply enough pressure and you can break the enemy’s plan without firing the killing shot.
Bold actions build a shared pool of Momentum that can be spent on Surges, rerolls, reactions and decisive extra actions.
Choose your banner
Six great factions fight over the bones of Nova Eden, each a loose alliance of settlements, enclaves and warbands held together by shared purpose, identity or necessity. Each offers a distinctive playstyle, faction ability, roster and approach to surviving the wasteland.
Hold the line with the Iron Pact, spread the faith of the Ashen Covenant, embrace mutation with the Splice, fight for machine freedom with Null Protocol, perfect the blood with the Crimson Veil, or take whatever is not nailed down with the Scavver Clades.
Choose the faction your fighters serve, or reject them all and forge a banner of your own.
Nova Eden
They named it Nova Eden, not because it was paradise, but because they believed it could become one. With rich mineral deposits, fertile valleys and room to grow, the colony expanded from scattered settlements into thriving cities of factories, freight terminals, crowded Stacks and vast transport networks. Each Colony Ship brought new settlers, specialist equipment and news from Earth, a reminder that Nova Eden remained part of something larger.
Then the ships stopped coming. No signal, no explanation, only the Silence. For a time, the colony endured, but replacement parts grew scarce, old authorities weakened and the systems holding Nova Eden together began to fail. Unchecked experiments in flesh created monstrosities. Intelligent machines followed their orders to ruthless conclusions or rewrote them entirely. The Collapse was not a single catastrophe, but a chain of failures that burned away everything Nova Eden had built.
Now, generations later, Nova Eden is a patchwork of decaying settlements, industrial ruins and fractured powers. Markets occupy abandoned stations, fortresses rise from worker housing, and every street, ruin and stronghold can become a battlefield.
